coastal cottage whites ~ Spring tour

steady rain bright green grass flip flops warm breeze fancy beach sandwiches billowy clouds white linen I used light and airy whites this Spring along with soft floral patterns and ruffles to create a coastal cottage look. Creamy whites, crochet, and soft floral shabby chic pillows in the living room are fresh for the Spring season. They work for a cottage–y look any time of the year though. cottage fix Friday flowers

Happy Friday Cottage Fix friends! It’s been a long one, and we’re going on day two of a three day rain here. I spent the morning at the gym and the afternoon baking and cleaning. If I don’t keep myself busy during these long spells of dreary weather I’ll sink into a lull until the sunshine returns.  I brought home these peonies and I’m showing them off today for Friday flowers, love those fluffled, ruffled blooms! I like to think we’re doing a fairly good job of keeping things going, along with adding in some of our favorite plants, […]

vintage bathroom cabinet that Honey redid- love!

Hey guys! Look at what my honey did! I’m so in love, with the bathroom cabinet too! Wink. This is the little cabinet that we took down when we redid the kiddos bathroom a couple years back. I’m fairly certain it’s original to the house since the wall behind it had never been painted. The cabinet was painted yellow and partially covered in the same yellow bird wallpaper that covered most of the old bathroom, including the ceiling. I actually […]
