I kept our little cottage simple and sweet this year, and a tad on the traditional side too. I used fresh greenery, white twinkle lights, and shots of red to create a traditional cottage style Christmas. The mantle is done up with fresh pine garland, pine cones, and white twinkle lights. To add a bit of red, I tied red velvet around plain white candles. I used the extra tree trunk as candle holders.White candles in all the windows look so pretty from the street. Our Christmas tree is adorned with more white twinkle lights and colorful baubles. In the dining room, I added more fresh pine garland to the hutch. And this is the wrapping corner I created on the sun porch. This might just be a new holiday tradition at Cottage Fix. It has really helped me stay organized with shopping and gifts.I chose red and white cottage style wrapping paper. And I added another touch of greenery in our office. xoxo Sally
