summer snaps

Happy Friday! Hope everyone is having a great summer. It rained here for 34 days straight, give or take a day. Grin. The sunshine is back along with the heat and humidity, and our garden has grown wild. I’m excited to get out there tomorrow to help honey get things looking a bit better—fingers crossed I don’t melt! We went on a little beach vacation at the end of June, and July has flown on by. I can’t believe how […]

summer love

The latest summer view on our sun porch and at the nearby trail. I simplified our sun porch with the addition of three white linen pillows that I borrowed from our living room. One was on it’s way to turning purple and the other blue. So I did some investigating about hydrangea color… Can you manipulate […]

Friday flowers from the late summer garden

Hello there Cottage Fix friends from the Virginia coast with a tropical storm heading our way. Hermine is headed straight for the Florida pan handle, and then forecast to make its way up the east coast. Those 70s I was dreaming of are looking more and more like they’ll be accompanied by buckets and buckets of rain, rain, rain. I’m still holding out hope for the sunshine and cool air to blow in on Sunday, but it looks more like […]
