coastal cottage whites ~ Spring tour

steady rain

bright green grass

flip flops

warm breeze

fancy beach sandwiches

billowy clouds

white linen

I used light and airy whites this Spring along with soft floral patterns and ruffles to create a coastal cottage look.

Creamy whites, crochet, and soft floral shabby chic pillows in the living room are fresh for the Spring season. They work for a cottage–y look any time of the year though.

And on the sun porch it’s more ruffles and white.Cottage Fix blog - coastal cottage whitesCottage Fix blog - coastal cottage whitesCottage Fix blog - floral and ruffles Our beach bags are on the ready, stocked with sun block, music, drink koozies, and hats. Little clay pots filled with herbs on the kitchen windowsill. I might need to move these outside if they don’t get enough light in here.

An heirloom crochet bedspread in our master bedroom. This extra large beauty with a star pattern is from hubby’s side of our family.

Love the pot rack pipe, it’s sets a perfect tone of all things industrial French in your kitchen along with the herbs.
As for the beds, wow! And I love your cottage home.

Thanks so much Dore! We added the pot rack out of necessity because there’s limited storage in this old kitchen. I got the idea from my mom, it’s made out of pieces and parts from Lowes and Home Depot. xo

Everything looks so fresh and inviting! And clean! I would never be able to photograph that many spaces in our home at once – there would have to be a white tornado cleaning spree first, haha! Your cottage looks like a story book, Sally.
