The peonies are beginning to bloom in the garden so I finally have something other than red azalea to cut and bring in. The summer flowers are on the way. I’m so happy — peonies are my all time favorite! These are the first three peony blooms in bright pink with a pastel pink center.

Life has been moving in full speed this week with jam packed days of soccer games, doctor appointments, and musical performances. I don’t mind it though. I stumbled upon a couple of hours this morning and decided to have coffee and a snuggle with sweet Paisley on the sofa — ahh … what a nice start to what is shaping up to be one crazy day of running around town.

Talk about one super-sized, spontaneous furniture purchase — a baby grand! We have been toying around with the idea of a piano for a couple of years now.
