Life has been moving in full speed this week with jam packed days of soccer games, doctor appointments, and musical performances. I don’t mind it though. I stumbled upon a couple of hours this morning and decided to have coffee and a snuggle with sweet Paisley on the sofa — ahh … what a nice start to what is shaping up to be one crazy day of running around town.

These Shabby Chic curtains from Target are the window treatments above the kitchen sink. They add a nice softness to the kitchen and help lighten up the space. They are semi-sheer and do wonderful things to the light in the morning. Today we’re off to a cloudy start and I love how the soft glow through the curtains lights the room. If you have been keeping up with my posts for May you might have noticed that every single post has red azaleas in it. It’s feast or famine around here when it comes to blooms from the garden. Right now I’m feasting on red azaleas and I’ll take it!
