What a long wet rainy day. Doesn’t the first Monday after the time change seem to go on forever! I always have a hard time adjusting to the time change, I’m like a toddler I guess. My internal clock just keeps on ticking โ I’m hungry for lunch at ten AM and ready for lights out by 8 at night.
Paisley is enjoying her new fall crochet sweater on this long soaker of a Monday. I couldn’t resist sharing it with you. She’s so funny in it though, as soon as she gets it on all she wants to do is sit in my lap and get cozy. Yes, she’s a bit put off by the interruption in her snuggle time for this little photo shoot.
And in between lap time, I’m working on a few things here inside, mostly painting and “playing house”. And then there’s the big blank wall over the piano where I’m thinking of hanging a few old frames. I can’t seem to get that wall to look right. It’s the first thing you see when you head in through our front door and it drives me bonkers. This is my third attempt at some sort of a wall treatment. Fingers crossed!

Your doggie is so cute in her crocheted sweater. It has been raining here all day too. A very yucky Monday for sure. I love the new time change though. I wish it would just stay this way year round. I got up earlier than my alarm clock (for once) and got an early start to my day because of this new time change. Love it! I know what you’re going through trying several times to get a wall to look right. I have certain areas in my house that drive me nuts too.
I was practically falling asleep at dinner tonight! I guess it’s the time change….and the fact that it’s completely dark by the time we sit down to eat. I have so much more energy in the summer!
Paisley looks absolutely adorable in her new autumn sweater! We had a Yorkie Poo who looked very much like your Paisley with the same coloring and white eyebrows. So cute!
We’ve all got that one space that we can’t seem to get right. Some of us have quite a few of them. I’m returning ANOTHER 4 pairs of curtains that didn’t work out in the master bedroom. I’ve now lost count of how many I’ve bought and returned. I’m sure you’ll have that spot looking magazine worthy soon!
It has been raining here too but we need it so desperately. Our drought stricken land is so dry and this rain has provided a good soaking. The rain has been a beautiful welcome of November. My little Bella does not like to wear sweaters either! But she likes to snuggle in piles of blankets. It is funny… if my first born had been born a girl the name we had chosen was Paisley Autumn. I still love that name. But our first born was a boy…Luke. xo
That shabby little end table by your daybed…OMG!!! It’s to die for! Your pup looks so warm and cozy in that crocheted sweater, too cute:) I’ve got huge ants in my pants to shuffle things around today too, it’s fun tho and half the time, I end up moving things right back to where I originally had them LOL…but then there are those times where I think it looks so much better after!
We’re supposed to get rain later on this week but right now, it’s very hot and very humid:(
I love Paisley’s aloof look when you interrupted her snuggle time with a photo shoot. She is so cute in that sweater! We have to dress our greyhound in fleece in the winter…he has little hair and almost no body fat ๐ I have walls in my house that drive me bonkers, too. Good luck!
Love Paisleys sweater outfit, an I bet you look at her and tell her how much you love her outfit ๐
We are getting some rain, yet we never get rain on a regular basis on the desert of Ca. Until a big storm comes through and with cooler days we have been having to sweater up our Italian Greyhound, they chill to their skinny bone. I have been making sweater cuffs for her long neck ๐
I love your cozy feel here and I bet Paisley was happy to get back to her resting place when you were done with her shoot ..
See you soon.
