Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Cottage Fix friends! I kept our little cottage simple and sweet this year, and a tad on the traditional side too. I used fresh greenery, white twinkle lights, and shots of red to create a traditional cottage style Christmas.
The mantle is done up with fresh pine garland, pine cones, and white twinkle lights. To add a bit of red, I tied red velvet around plain white candles. I used the extra tree trunk as candle holders.White candles in all the windows look so pretty from the street. Our Christmas tree is adorned with more white twinkle lights and colorful baubles. In the dining room, I added more fresh pine garland to the hutch. And this is the wrapping corner I created on the sun porch. This might just be a new holiday tradition at Cottage Fix. It has really helped me stay organized with shopping and gifts.I chose red and white cottage style wrapping paper. And I added another touch of greenery in our office. Merry Christmas!
xoxo Sally
I love your Christmas decor. Just lovely.
Your cottage looks warm and cozy with your touches of red and fresh greenery tucked in, Sally. Cute string of jingly bells strung across your dining room mirror! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Everything looks so beautiful and festive! I love your wrapping station, I’ll definitely have to do that next year. Your white brick fireplace makes me swoon!!! I have to ask about a blanket or throw I see on your rattan sofa in the 7th pic down…it looks beautiful!
I’m going to paint my dining table French Blue after Christmas, the color I have looks similar to your dining table:) Have a wonderful pre-Christmas weekend Sally!!!
Thanks so much Victoria! The blanket is from Pottery Barn a few seasons back. One of my readers recently found one on Ebay so you might try there. Happy Weekend! xo Sally
I’m in love with that hutch!
I love your relaxed decor that is so warm, cozy, and charming!
Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Mary Alice
