Tye Overlook Scenic view

This past weekend we took a break from our regular weekend chores and shenanigans and headed for the Virginia country.  This is the Tye Overlook at the James River State Park and the view is majestic.  We have visited this park a couple of times in the past few years and it is definitely becoming one of my family’s favorites. I am one happy lady!  I have been waiting weeks for these blackberries to ripen.  Now that they are dark and juicy it’s blackberry cobbler time. Blackberries are fairly easy to grow and it seems you can just ignore them until picking time.  I wish I could say I have a green thumb, but I am incapable of growing anything that requires a lot of fuss.  We make all kinds of cobblers all summer long and this recipe is at […]
