sunny garden days — Wednesday

Salutations!  Another beautiful day here, blogging in with day two of sunny garden days.  Do you remember those delicate, sweet primroses from the toolbox centerpiece?  Here they are in the garden along with a bright pink knockout rose bush and our concrete birdbath.  The mountain mint is growing tall in the background, that stuff will take over when your not looking!

A few sprigs of the knockout rose in this vintage blue bottle are brightening up the sun porch. I scored this cobalt blue BROMO bottle while I was out antiquing with my honey.  He likes to go antiquing these days since he realized you can sometimes find vintage hand tools.  I wrapped a piece of hemp string around the top of the bottle and then looped another piece through to make a strap.  It can hang just about anywhere, but I like the way the sunlight looks shining through it.

The bright pink blooms are nice with all of the white and blue on the sun porch.  And they smell so sweet!
