I have been working on our guest room for a few months now. The walls are painted a soft shade of cream, thanks to some help from my mom, and all of the main furniture pieces are in place. There are really only two, a daybed and a media cabinet – both vintage pieces. Since we rarely have company and the kids have overtaken this room, I thought this petite daybed would work nicely. The original three seat cushions (that were so old they were hard as rocks) have been chucked and replaced with a single piece of foam from the fabric store. It happens to be comfortable enough to use for an extra bed. I wanted ivory ruffled shams to go with the throw pillows I already had for the daybed. After searching in stores and online I found these ruffled shams from Urban Outfitters online store. They are only $30 for the pair and come in several yummy colors.
