We’re just back from our trip to South Nags Head where we were hard at work doing the beach – pool, beach – pool, beach – pool thing. It was a fun few days with family and friends making memories that we will cherish. These are a few shots from my iPhone while we were there.
The waves were big and choppy…
A sandpiper fleeing from a crashing wave…
The pier we walked to along the shore…
Honey is home the rest of this week and we are enjoying some lovely time off.

What a lovely and relaxing place! There’s no sound on earth quite like the sound of ocean waves:)
How beautiful! I have not been to the beaches on the coast of NC yet. I’ve seen pics of how natural it is and would love to go some time! I like how it’s not as commercialized as FL. Enjoy your time together this week.
Your photos of the ocean are wonderful! Something so peaceful about walking along the water and listening to the waves.

What a way to end the summer, nothing less then the sounds of white noise and the beauty of white caps on the sea.
It’s so peaceful looking and inspiring to ones soul.
See you soon dear, enjoy the last of summer, looking forward to what the coming seasons will bring to Cottage Fix.

I always love the sea. Road trips to the coast are the best. xo
