Salutations! The Summertime blues have made there way around cottage fix — a little blue here, a little blue there. I’m loving shots of blue throughout our little cottage!
On the sun porch white wicker and blue accessories say “hello summer.”
The blue BROMO bottle is filled with a garden bouquet of white and lavender.
The cottage entry greets guests with blue hydrangeas, a blue striped cloth, and vintage crochet. It’s starting to look like summer.
Ooh, I made the Pioneers Woman’s recipe for Blackberry Cheesecake Squares. I made them with blueberries instead of blackberries though, because I had blue on my brain! These are silky and delicious and fairly easy to make. Enjoy!
Blue is sitting pretty on the cottage sofa as always. Every time I try to take the blue out of the living room it always seems to find its way back. Those blue pillows have a mind of there own!
Happy Summer! Thanks for popping over today for a look at the cottage fix “too blue Summertime.” xoxo Sally
So cool and refreshing! Everything looks lovely and your photos look like the came out of a magazine.
Stunning!

First of all, gorgeous photos!! Everything is just so tastefully placed and omg, how yummy the blueberry cheesecake squares look. I probably would have gone with blueberries, as well… 🙂 Love the hydrangeas, love the pervasive white to play the bits of blue off of. Really really nice!
Thanks Lory, the cheesecake squares didn’t last long, I had to hide a couple to photograph. We couldn’t stop eating them!
I love the blues in your cottage! In the last year or so I’ve been adding more blues to my décor. I also tried that recipe, I made it with fresh strawberries when they were in season. It turned out great! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Bobbi Jo! And yum – strawberry sounds delicious!
