Umm… a week of sunny garden days can be a little rough on us allergy sufferers.  At this point our cottage is filled with flowers and teetering on the edge of smelling too sweet, if there is such a thing.  These flowering tree branches are by far the most fragrant of all.

Salutations!  Another beautiful day here, blogging in with day two of sunny garden days.  Do you remember those delicate, sweet primroses from the toolbox centerpiece?  Here they are in the garden along with a bright pink knockout rose bush and our concrete birdbath.  The mountain mint is growing tall in the background, that stuff will take over when your not looking!

Salutations!  Okay, I just can’t resist.  We are headed into a week of absolutely gorgeous weather.  I can’t stand it, it’s so beautiful outside.  So I’m celebrating with a week of sunny garden days.  It starts today and will run for the next three days featuring the garden and casual floral arrangements using blooms from the garden.

Salutations!  Virginia has turned green — greener than green.  This is the time of year all the plants start growing and turn our town into a lush, green beauty.  The new ivy growth is vivid lime green lighting up our flower beds, and the birds are splashing around in the bath.  It’s looking like Spring out there for sure.  It’s been a hot week, but that’s okay.
