too blue Summertime cottage

Salutations!  The Summertime blues have made there way around cottage fix — a little blue here, a little blue there.  I’m loving shots of blue throughout our little cottage!

The cottage entry greets guests with blue hydrangeas, a blue striped cloth, and vintage crochet.  It’s starting to look like summer.
Cottage Fix -cottage entry with blue flowers and crochet for summertimeOoh, I made the Pioneers Woman’s recipe for Blackberry Cheesecake Squares.  I made them with blueberries instead of blackberries though, because I had blue on my brain!  These are silky and delicious and fairly easy to make. Enjoy!

Cottage Fix -Cheesecake squaresBlue is sitting pretty on the cottage sofa as always.  Every time I try to take the blue out of the living room it always seems to find its way back.  Those blue pillows have a mind of there own!

    First of all, gorgeous photos!! Everything is just so tastefully placed and omg, how yummy the blueberry cheesecake squares look. I probably would have gone with blueberries, as well… 🙂 Love the hydrangeas, love the pervasive white to play the bits of blue off of. Really really nice!

      Thanks Lory, the cheesecake squares didn’t last long, I had to hide a couple to photograph. We couldn’t stop eating them!

    I love the blues in your cottage! In the last year or so I’ve been adding more blues to my décor. I also tried that recipe, I made it with fresh strawberries when they were in season. It turned out great! Thanks for sharing!
